Grenada's embassy in Moscow on Tuesday expressed its condolences for the fatal shooting at a school in the Russian city of Kazan.
According to the latest reports, eight people were killed and at least 21 injured in a school shooting in Kazan. It is reported that a 19-year-old man opened fire at school #175 around 9:20 local time this morning. The intruder has been apprehended. All of the wounded were hospitalized, including 18 children, 6 of whom are in intensive care.
It was announced that all necessary assistance, including financial assistance, would be provided to the families of the victims.
"My sincerest and deepest condolences to the families and friends of the victims of the terrorist attack in Kazan. I wish the victims a speedy recovery." commented Ambassador Firer.
Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov declared May 12 a day of national mourning after the horrific armed attack.
