Grenada's Team at the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games

Four athletes from the Grenada Athletics Association have qualified for the 2020 Tokyo Olympics, and two swimmers representing the Grenada Amateur Swimming Association have received wild card spots at the Games in Japan.

The opening ceremony will take place on July 23, 2021. The six athletes will be accompanied by five coaches, 1 physical therapist and 2 team representatives.
Athletics:
  • Kirani Z. James - 400m (men)
  • Melini D. Rodney - 400m (women)
  • Anderson J. Peters - Javelin
  • Lyndon K Victor - decathlon
Swimming:
  • Kimberly E Ince - 100m backstroke (women)
  • Delron D. Felix - 100m freestyle (men)
Coaches:
  • Paul Phillip - Throws Harvey Glance - Track.
  • Valencia Natalie Sehera - Swimming
  • Joshua L. Prister - Decathlon
  • Thomas E. Fitzsimon - Pole vault
  • Physical Therapist: Dr. Ernest Ferrell
Officials:
  • Ralph James - Team Leader and Senior Manager
  • Dr. Caroline Jane Noel - chef de mission.
The closing ceremony for the 2020 Tokyo Olympics is scheduled for August 8, 2021.
