Diplomatic relations between Grenada and the Republic of Moldova were established on 26 June 2019.
Protocol on the establishment of diplomatic relations between both countries was signed in Moscow on Wednesday June 26, 2019.
Ambassadors Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary H.E. Mr. Oleg Firer and H.E. Mr. Andrei Neguta signed on behalf of the governments of Grenada and the Republic of Moldova respectively.
“Grenada and the Republic of Moldova, desirous to promote mutual understanding and strengthen the friendship and cooperation between the two countries, guided by the principles and purposes of the United Nations Charter and international law, have decided to establish diplomatic relations at ambassadorial level,” the protocol reads.
