GEORGIA — GRENADA

Diplomatic relations between Grenada and Georgia were established on 23 November 2011.
November 24, 2020 – NEW YORK, NY – An Agreement between the government of Grenada and the government of Georgia on the exemption of Visa requirements was signed on November 23, 2020.

Grenada’s Permanent Representative to the United Nations, H.E. Keisha McGuire, and Georgia’s Permanent Representative to the United Nations, H.E. Kaha Imnadze, executed an agreement that will waive visa requirements, allowing nationals of Grenada and Georgia to travel between the 2 countries without a visa.
The agreement signed on Monday, November 23, 2020, in New York will go into effect 30 days following notification of the parties’ completion of internal procedures necessary to implement the agreement.

Both diplomats acknowledged the that visa waiver is an important step for facilitating tourist exchanges and developing Grenada-Georgia cooperation.
